Welcome to the Cloonakilla National School Parents’ Association page. We hope that it will give you some insight into who we are and what we do.
We all want the same thing for our children: the best, and the very best at that. The Department of Education and Science only provides so much. And this is where the Parents’ Association comes in.
Our aim is to work closely and effectively with the school staff and to support and initiate any activities that are to the general benefit of our children. On your behalf, we fund-raise and put the money to work for our children making certain that every child in the community has the best educational experience possible that this money can provide.

2017- 2018
Our new school opened in September 2017. This project was many years in the making and it was well worth the wait.
Over this year we will have a number of fundraising events to support the new school. Stocking the school library and purchase of a stage for the assembly hall are priorities for this year.
The PA will host ‘The Cube’ next March as a fundraiser for the school.
The ‘Cube ‘ will play out on March 18 next in the Athlone Springs Hotel and boasts a 1st prize of E2,500.
Do you think you have what it takes to beat the Cube ? Entries and other enquiries to e-mail : cloonakillacube@gmail.com.
Liimited to 40 entries. More details to follow.
