4th Class Tour

4th Class travelled to Shannon River Adventure Centre in Rooskey Co. Roscommon for their school tour this year. It was a fun filled day packed full of land and water activities. In the morning the children enjoyed land activities such as archery, the climbing wall, 4 way tug of war and team challenges. The climbing wall was tough but everyone was determined to hit the buzzer at the top!

After lunch everyone put on their wet suits and set off for the water activities. Kayaking was so much fun, some children set off individually while others worked as a team. The mudslide was next on the list and everyone enjoyed sliding head first into the water! Our last activity was pier jumping, everyone was soaked at the end of the day!

On the way home the bus was very quiet as everyone was tired after the fun day full of activities.

Everyone had a great day!

Last meeting of Green School Committee 2016/17

The Green School’s Committee had their last meeting of 2016-2017. We have all learnt a lot about Global Citizenship. We will continue working hard to be good global citizens next year and hopefully we will gain our next Green Flag. Thank you to all the committee members who worked very hard all year.
